    Thumbs up

Sure is good to hear from you Pat.Peter Magel yrs ago taught me alot of what I know about drag racing. It because of his Magget that I am such a fan of the bullet nose Stude's.We drifted apart, but at one time where good friends. As a kid then I would steer around corners the Magget while we flat towed to the track.
Last time I talked to John Peter's brother,he told me yrs of exposure to cleaning fluids in his shop had taken it's toll on Peter' lungs and they still had the car under a tarp in a barn.Didn't know he ended up in a rest home through.

    Peter Megel's 52 Studebaker Maggot

Just to pass along a story to you about Peter. He rolled out of the staging lights because one lane at Lancaster was at a slight incline.Wouldn't know it someone shuck into the track and took a pic ax to dig a divet so the car would not roll out anymore of the staging lights. The story it was Peter, but it couldn't be proved.I asked him about that and he just smiled and said he didn't know.
