The grille emblem reminds me of an American Lafrance...

Only comment that I might have is that it ?seems? that the American LaFrance kinda specialized in Fire Trucks.

Actually, Nelson-LeMoon was a truck manufacturer in the twenties and probably made chassis' .... chassyes? ..... chaseeezes?... for several applications.
Also actually, I'm just being a wise-ass. I googled 1920's trucks and found one with a radiator and shell, front axle, etc. that pretty much matches the one in Emmett's picture.
Having come clean, I feel better now.
