    He got a nice, well built little car Don. He's probably be interested in seeing the build thread where it all went together. Did you pass him the link?

    As I recall when it was for sale wasn't there a lot of BS about it being a CA built car or something?

    Thanks Mike. I tried to find the old project $ 3K thread and it is gone. I think it disappeared when we made the change, or maybe I am just not finding it.

    Yeah, the first time the guy I sold it to tried selling it on Ebay he consigned it to a broker who fabricated this elaborate story about the car costing $ 40,000 to build, being built by a pro shop in California, having all these parts that I never used, etc. Some members on other forums called him and said BS, they knew the history on the car. This time the ad was a one liner and the only mistake was that he said it had a 700R trans instead of the real th350.

    Sometimes I wish I still had it, but the saddest person was my Son Dan when it left. He really felt bad and he had put as much work in it as me, so I understand. But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
