Yeah Steve, I remember a couple small business guys I worked with in the late '70s had TRS 80s for basic book keeping.............geek head pioneers. Ten years ago we had a wonderful program at the shop that kept track of job scheduling, did parts ordering and inventory control, all the basic book keeping and payroll stuff, accounts recievables and payables, insurance billings and updates, and on and on, mostly single entry stuff that cascaded throughout the program if done correctly. I would imagine that now, a decade or so later, they're even more powerful. Single terrabite storage is almost the basic for a home computer, and for business........................holy cow!!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
Dammit, another good ol boy gone. Condolence to the family. RIP Mike
