My ex works for a local Sheriffs Dept. In records they transcribe all of the officers reports by listening to the tapes and typing them up. I had asked her if they ever thought about using a software of this type. Their concern was not getting the correct information entered because of the differances in the way people talk. Someone would still then have to listen to the tapes, then read & edit the reports anyway.

I have seen this software on tv lately. It seems a bit slow. Is it any faster then it is on the commercials?
