Another Step!
Took another step with the car today. After 11 years, the car got a title here in Massachusetts! Now if I can stop traveling for work, I'll get time to go and register it!
A big thanks to Henry Rifle! Your willingness to share made things so much easier for me! Thank YOU!
Now I get the pleasure of paying sales tax and standing in line for plates!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Yes! It's been a long time coming! It felt good to drive it out of the state police garage with her new set of numbers! The trooper that did the inspection, called me over and handed me a shop towel. With a questioning look on my face - he said, "rub here", pointing to a spot on the firewall. He the said, "I'll let you do the honors!" HAH! So with him looking over my shoulder, I carefully place the label onto the car! Now I need to hit the rack.. I didn't sleep a wink last night!

How do they figure sale price to calculate sales tax? Just curious because VA said pick a number! The $135 my dad paid in 1958 should do!'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

Every time I go to get a title for some car I hold my breath, and when they actually hand it to you the feeling is so great. There is always that painful wait while the clerk goes back into some hidden office to do God knows what, and you think she is going to come out and say "rejected !"
That little piece of paper in your name sure does make life a lot easier.

HMMmm.. somewhere is a thread.. oh, the small block ford forum..... Randy started it regarding headers I think it was .. I'll search for it and save it as a link to post here a little later. Basically it turned into a 3 or 4 way conversation between Randy, Bobby Dave and I ( sometimes some others).. I'm rambling so I'll stop here. Once I find the thread I'll post a link for you. 8-)

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
