    Today's Posts

The "Today's Posts" button is a very handy tool, but I have noticed lately that if someone posts a question or comment it may get a flurry of responses and still be "active" in many people's minds, but if it goes dormant for 24 hours it is gone, and the only way to find it again is to either 1) remember who started the thread, go to their profile and look at "Show all started threads"; 2) remember someone who replied, go to that person's profile and sort through "Show all posts" (or your own, if you answered); or 3) try a generic search by topic, which may or may not be fruitful. In the previous format you got the most recent posts across all forum categories, but then there was the "More..." button at the bottom of the page (Ken Thurm called it "My 'More' Button"), which would go back in recent history as far as one wanted to go by continuing to hit "More". Is there an easy way that the "Today's Posts" display can be expanded on request (like the More button), or is there perhaps an option for another button, like perhaps "Active Threads" that would list all threads from the past week, or the past month? Just wondering, and not trying to start another rant here, guys and gals, just a question for those who know what can and cannot be done within reason.

Also, could we add a "Todays Posts" button at the bottom of the page? Would save me a step of jumping back to the top of a page... just sayin!.!.!.!.!.......

    Bump for Brent,
I did learn one thing - In "Advanced Search" you can easily select "Posts", and for the timeframe select "One Week", and "Or Newer" to get posts from the past week, but having the "Today's Posts" expanded or a second button added to increase the timeframe is still my question. Having to search every time one visits is a pain, and duplicating that button at the bottom of the page as 34_40 suggests is an excellent idea, too, if it is something the software supports?

Edit - After all these weeks I just now noticed that at the bottom of the page next to the tiny, light font "Quick Navigation" box is a small box with "TOP" in bold, which of course takes me back to the top of page where the "Today's Posts" button is. DUH!! Cannot believe I had not seen that button in all of these weeks/months!!
