    Pictures from Leno's garage

I get a link sent from classic performance parts, and sometime links to Leno's garage are in there. This week it has a custom 69 ford mustang fastback with a 494 all aluminum Boss engine made for Mario Andretti. Here's the link

Wow, a long video! I've come to respect Bodie Stroud for his subdued, classic lines and super clean builds. When I first saw him a few years back he came across as a bit of a flake....

Exactly my thought also unless the new owner is a dwarf. Absolutely awesome car apart from the bonnet not opening to a reasonable height.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Interesting thoughts! I was laughing at the roof height. It looks cool, but who wants to duct down while driving, or drive reclined 45 degrees. He did do a beautiful job on it though! I have to admit I like the mods from a stylistic point of view. And the engine and tranny combo was very cool. I have friends with custom Harleys. They'll put ape hangers on them to a rediculous height, and then complain if you want to go on a long ride that it's too uncomfortable. Others sit so low, with no suspension or too long a rake for their choppers, that they don't end up riding much more than to the nearest bar. Never made sense to me, since I like to drive my cars, and ride my bikes, not hop from one block to the next!
Allan it's been a while since I have seen you here. How's the Volvo coming along?

subdued is a good word to describe that stang and the 61 .. he seems to be able to take the "OMG " factor out of a car .. stuff you could walk rite by at a show and they not get your attention .. i dont care or the top chop or the tail lite change .. plus i`d add the slats and spoiler and some stripes .. i like pizzaz..
iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?
