Hi Dave and Family,just read all 5 pages is my computer got taken over by the Devil last sunday and just got it back from the repair shop late yesterday,so am doing some catching up with my reading.
I know I'm a week late but you and your grandchildren will be included in my dailey prayers as of now and I'm so glad that she is recoverying so quickly.
It is times like this that reinforces to me how everybody here is so excellent and caring for one another.
We're home!!!! Lexi and Lisha are in their beds and sleeping soundly, both are doing quite well, all things considered.....
First, thank you all for your prayers over the last week!!! If anyone ever thinks that the power of prayer doesn't work, tell them to talk to me about it!!! We've got two miracles right here in the house!!!!
We got home about an hour ago, the trip home went very well other then one huge downpour going north on I-35 just before the Iowa-Minnesota line! But anyway, we made it!!! We had a "fun stop" or two along the way, both girls are eating very well now and we're working hard to get their nutrition levels back up where they belong.... More on that some other time though, the good news is they are out of that hell and surrounded by people who love them!!!!
BTW--huge cookout at Dave's house Sunday to welcome them home, stop by if you're in the "hood"!!!! More later, got lots of people to get hold of and tell them we made it.
That is great news Dave.Now that you have gotten this far,I'll shift gears and start a prayer for the girls and you be able to get threw the legal process.
Also Dave I would think you have been threw hell and back yourself.Take sometime for yourself.Take care of yourself Dave.
Oh-I know the 57 has been the last thing on your mind.Just a suggestion you seriously consider a redesign for rear back seats now.;):)
Hi there, this is Lamin8r's wife Lynda. First off, we're sitting here at home in front of this computer with huge wide grins of happiness that you got your little girls home with you. Our church, a little Baptist church in New Plymouth has been praying for this whole thing for a few days now, and we're just praising God that He answers prayer so completely. We're going to go to church tomorrow morning and tell them. Will continue to keep praying until the i's are dotted and the t's crossed, and they are back to full, happy, health. And you both can look forward to raising the next generation. A labour of love, huh?

Lisha, the older girl, was sitting on Grandma's lap last night and asked Grandma if she had food in her house. Kind of a real eye opener on just how tough these two little angels have had things when they're not even sure there is going to be food for them to eat....and on the way home one of our stops was at McDonalds (of course) for some lunch. Lisha sat across the table from Lexie when we were eating and her first question was if all this food (Cheeseburger, fries, and milk) was just for her....and could she eat it all now or did she have to save some of it for tomorrow!!!! A child not yet 3 years old should never have to worry about when their next meal is coming!!!!
Glad to hear you and your family made it home OK. The girls have a real chance now and I'm happy for you.
I didn't expect to have a few tears coming out of my eyes this morning. I wasn't ready for that. Your gonna have your hands full. Full of LOVE.
