This thing is kinda embarassing (well, not as embarassing as watching a murder trial with two cats, but..............) makes ya confront how much of the day gets lost.

I usually start the day at 5a.m. with about a quart of coffee, and some computer time. Yesterday did some pruning and underbrush cleanup, filled a couple 96 gallon toters for the green recycle pickup. Blew off the tree droppings from the driveway. Made another new young rodder friend when a lad from British Columbia drove down to buy one of the Ford transverse spring I've got advertised. He's in the learning phase. He originally emailed that he wanted what a buddy told him was a "high arch '40 spring". I told I'd never heard of such a thing, but I had a '40 among others, and asked if he could describe what he was doing. Instead he just said he'd drive down! (roughly 125 miles one way) So I'd dug out the '40 spring, when he got there and we started the 20 questions thing. When he got to mentioning he was using a Model A rear cross member I then understood where the "high arch" thing came from. Fortunately for him I also had an extra Model A spring so he hadn't wasted the trip. Then it was get cleaned up again and head off to a high school graduation party for the son of a good friend. Finished out the day with some more computer time getting caught up on race results, emails, and craigslist shopping for poorly advertised "deals".

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Up at 5:30 and shower. Drive the car to work and get stuck in traffic. Usually takes me an hour to get into the office. Work until 5:00 or 5:30 then get stuck in traffic going home. Once home, grab a bite to eat and start on the projects. For me.... Life is the weekends.

Hey guys and especially you Charlie, all that coffee,it is a wonder you guys can sleep.
My day is boring but here goes.... Wake up,get up,make mums breakfast, tell her to shower and organise her clothes for the day. Play on the computer for a little while then clean up the dishes etc. get lunch for mum and check to see if she is comfortable and warm, play on computer. Organise dinner and what to cook and give that to mum and then clean up,sit and watch TV or play on computer until bed time. Heck what we do for our elderly folk.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
