You can pair this down to it's simplest form but the realty these are multi sponsors that support multi million dollar races and racing operations. It is for that fact alone those sponsors can dictate how that image is portrayed.RC surely has been in the business long enough to know those days of a sandy beach racing have long passed and how his actions put sponsorships at risk.It is because of it being a multi billion dollar business that NASCAR needs to show those sponsors no tolerance policy. We very well might have a image in our mind of what NASCAR is,but again the truth is something quite different.Car owners can't be involved it stuff like this.Hummm-now if RC got one of his tire changers to do it for him................LOLGood Bye

Wingman has it right. RC warned Kyle after Talladega, and Kyle elected to bash the rookie after the race here in KS. RC had no choice but to follow through and teach the brat a lesson, and he went to the garage preparing for action. I believe that if you poll the fans you will find that they support RC and his actions vs Kyle. Sponsors follow the fan reaction - RC is liable to get a bonus for the KS race, even if NASCAR gives him a token slap on the wrist.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I couldn't even watch the race and commentary about that RC - Rowdy mayhem. The local Fox station had a telethon pre empting NA$CAR. I would NOT have wanted to have been an operator at WXXA yesterday between 12 and 2. Would not have been nice. They had all winter to do those things that maybe 19 people watch, all relatives of the participants vs thousands that watch NA$CAR
