We're running Firefox 4.0.1, too. I sent this post to my son who is a IT Engineer, Programmer, Troubleshooter type guy; his response was: "There is no such thing as firefox 4.8.
That should tell you something....""Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
