I'm getting my old one fixed, but I'm keeping it for a backup...........for the day this inevitably happens again.

Watch craigslist, they pop up every once in a while. people get them and think they can use them at home, then realize they are in over their head and dump them for pennies on the dollar.

    Hey Pat!
If you go to the top of the page and up in the left side under the toolbar for navigation (ie. Forum, Media, Blog etc.) there is a smaller toolbar with New Posts, Private Messages, FAQ etc.
Click on Forum Actions, then click on General Settings.
Scroll down and you'll find Forum Skin. Click on that and chose Velocity. Then click Save Changes on the very bottom left of the page.
It will make the looks of everything change.
You'll now have a Black Background with White text.
This should make it really easy to read.
    Hope this helps, Tom

Tom, you can make the same change much easier. Go to the bottom, left corner of any page you're on, there is a small box with a down arrow \/, it's the 'Quick Style Chooser'. You can choose from the 3 themes/styles...Default Style, CHR or Velocity. Only 2 clicks of the mouse, same results.

BTW, depending on which style page you're currently on, the name of that style will be in the box next to the \/.

Not a bad idea. This was an emergency situation though. I have jobs stacked up and needed a replacement yesterday. I've been running the wheels off the new one since trying to get caught up. Being in the construction sign biz. this is my busiest time of the year.
