I have just been through this a little while ago,with the NZHRM site,and am still a little fazed by that one,now my favorite site has done it too...Will learn to work around the changes..I dont like change too much either,but I will sort it out.. I can still get on here,so thats kool..

Navigating the new layout couldn't be tough, I figured it out!!! Way I see it, I come to CHR for the people and the straight answers....format doesn't really make a bit of difference once I figured out where the stuff is that I want to see....

See, now you can impress your wife (if she uses the same computer) by using code names for your hot rod sites, like "Wall Street Journal" for CHR, New York Times for another, etc.

I do that but then forget what they are and have to look anyway. Some are so long I just use the first letter

She's got her own. She's a diehard PC person I'm a long time MACman.

I've got them all renamed. Life is good. MIne doesn't have a "rename" but it does have a "properties" that opens a second drop down where you can change the name. Thanks for the tip Roger.

I shouldn't say I didn't learn anything today. Fact is I learned how much a new vinyl cutter costs, when I turned on the old one this morning & it puffed out a little smoke signal.

Yup, priced out a new gx-500 not that long ago and decided that it's time to use the local vinyl shop for my needs...5K plus is a bit steep for me these days. Guess I'll have to wait for another shop to go belly up so I can snatch up their equipment for .05 on the dollar (again).

I just really have a bad feeling about this new change. Not trying to be negative, but the forum just doesn't have the same feel it had before. Kinda like coming home and the little lady has thrown out all the furniture and replaced it with art deco stuff that is about as comfortable as a brick. This used to be my first stop but I find myself going to the other forums I frequent first and only checking back here to see if there is anything I recognize.

Guys, is it REALLY that bad? I mean aside from a bit of a different look, and some work I have to do on the home page, everything is mostly the same. Hardly a square wheel. I promise you can survive and stay here at the same time.
