Don, 1 thing you might try to make finding new posts easier. I dumped the old CHR bookmark I had at the top of the page. I then clicked on "today's posts" on the front page, then I saved that page as my new bookmark. Now when I click on the CHR bookmark it opens to the "today's posts" automatically, sota' makes ''today's posts" the CHR homepage. The only downside is it names the bookmark "Search Results" instead of CHR. However if you put your cursor over the bookmark and wait a second it expands the bookmark name to read "SEARCH RESULTS, Club Hot Rod Forums" makes it easy to find if you bookmark several sites this way (as I have).

FYI, you can rename your favorites to anything you want - just right click the item in your Favorites list, select "Rename" and do your thing.

I've got them all renamed. Life is good. MIne doesn't have a "rename" but it does have a "properties" that opens a second drop down where you can change the name. Thanks for the tip Roger.

See, now you can impress your wife (if she uses the same computer) by using code names for your hot rod sites, like "Wall Street Journal" for CHR, New York Times for another, etc.

I shouldn't say I didn't learn anything today. Fact is I learned how much a new vinyl cutter costs, when I turned on the old one this morning & it puffed out a little smoke signal.

How do you really feel, Ted?

I just really have a bad feeling about this new change. Not trying to be negative, but the forum just doesn't have the same feel it had before. Kinda like coming home and the little lady has thrown out all the furniture and replaced it with art deco stuff that is about as comfortable as a brick. This used to be my first stop but I find myself going to the other forums I frequent first and only checking back here to see if there is anything I recognize.

Guys, is it REALLY that bad? I mean aside from a bit of a different look, and some work I have to do on the home page, everything is mostly the same. Hardly a square wheel. I promise you can survive and stay here at the same time.

well they say color has effect on some peoples mood .the back drop white and the light blue is hard for my eyes just do not want to read any thing or stay on for any time . darker blue border would help? the lay out with all the white and light blue needs bigger border in blue or another color added i do not know how hard this could be. but some thing i feel should be done and i not much for bitching but it could be better
