    Thanks for posting the link. It is amazing that more people didn't die while racing cars back then.

    It's amazing that ALL of them didn't die. No cage, no belts, leather cap, cotton shirt and pants.....makes me shudder....

    yeah the way some of them were just thrown from the car mid flip!

    it even amazes me when they walk away from crashes today but that is somethin else!

    I guess when you see a tough guy in the old movies driving a hot rod, now you know why!!!
    He had to be tough to drive one of those old hot rods.
    Them guys took some real beatings. HE! HE! HE!
