Dave,
A Tommy Lift type generally hangs outside of the vehicle folded up which would not work so good on a side door and might not even be legal. How about a wheelchair lift? They tuck inside, and are build for ez on, ez off access. Not sure of their capacity - just a thought.
Tech,
Is the lift in AZ?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I like Roger's idea. My sister just got a new van and when she was working out the trade of the old one the company told her that there was no value in the old lift even though it worked fine because regs have changed since it was built and for them to resell it would require an updated model. If there were such a company near you it might could be had for hauling away or at least scrap steel value. I don't know the lift specs, but I'd guess at least 400#, but could be higher.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
