In the first pic she appears to be milking, or is that just some dark junk on the far side of her?
You might want to track her and see if she has pups.

I agree with Shine!!! I've had aggressive dogs, most notably a chow/lab longhaired mix. Best dog I've ever had - but didn't take to ALL strangers - seems to be able to read human character very well.bet she will be your best friend if given a chance. all it takes is love .
It won't take long to determine how aggresive she will be. Just be careful with small children, especially toddlers until you determine her character.
I've also known Labs with wide jaws/head like that.Last edited by SBC; 03-28-2011 at 06:05 PM.

Taking in an adult dog can be a crapshoot, especially if you have kids in the house. I love animals but also realize that some pets can be unpredictable, even if you have known them since they were very young. I hear stories all the time about how pit bulls are such wonderful, loving pets, and maybe some are, but they didn't get their reputation without some cause. Some communities have even made them illegal to own.
That is a nice looking dog you pictured and my first thoughts were that she has some Border type dog in her, from her looks. Just be very careful, especially with kids around.......it only takes a second for a dog to snap and hurt or kill a small child.
