Great shop. Wish we had the space for a big layout like that!
What did you use to move with. 18 wheeler???
Nope, Denny.
Made a few trips with a couple differant trailers.
Still got my enclosed trailer sittin out back with the lift, air compressor, welders, jacks, carts, body dollies, hoists and other equiptment in it.
Plus god knows what else, but still plenty of boxes and crates out in it.
Gotta have "STUFF" when yer a 1 man show.
Started on the inside last week, all walls up
ready to run electric, water and air lines.
Then insulate and sheet it off
Looking great on the inside too, Don! Going to be a very nice shop when you get finished up!
Seeing the light @ the end of the tunnel.
Air lines (copper) in, insulation sprayed, started on electrical and steel wall sheeting.Plumbing for bath is complete.
Next is to sheetrock the booth and finally unload the trailed
Looks great, Don! I wish I had a bathroom in my shop, that's worth all the effort just by itself.
Don,
You mention rocking the booth, and that your spray insulation is in. Are you using white metal wall panels for the interior finish for the inside walls in the main shop, other than the spray booth? Just curious, as I really need to insulate my walls in the barn. Did you use something like this for foam, or did you have it done? Foam Insulation Kits by Fomo Foam Spray Foam
Roger, Yep ---- Inside of boothand bath is being done in 5/8 moisterproof drywall, everything else is covered in ag panel(steel ).
The stuff yer lookin @ is ok, but I found a local contractor to come in and spray 2 - 2 1/2 " for around $1.10 a sq ft.
He was in and out in 3 hrs and I started hangin metal right away.
Can tell the differance in the sound and cooling already and I ain't done yet.
Once the A/C and heat is in it ought to B a real pleasure workin in it
Don, lookin good! You need to post a pic of the sign above the walk in entry door. That sure puts a guy at ease when he walks in! Makes a guy feel right at home. I'm still laughing over that one.
UPDATE:
Got all the sheetrock done and painted, started to move STUFF in.
Gonna take a break for a while.
Gotta go over the Roadster Pickup so I can leave for the L.A. Roadster show next Monday (2700 mile round trip)
Goin out with a few buddies, 1 from No Carolina, 1 from Kentucky and 1 from Flordia, all 32 Ford roadsters. This is gonna be 1 F U N T R I P !
Will unload all the big stuff ( lift, welders, air compressor etc) when I get back.
Then, time to rock and roll again.
