Over the years they seem to always come up with stuff to help with steering and parking. Back in the 80's my mom bought a 4 wheel steering Honda Prelude, The rear whells would turn one direction for a slight turn, but rotate the opposite direction for a hard turn. I begged her to get that model(Hell I was still a young kid) and she did because she liked the wheels that came stock on that model vs. the standard model. It only cost about 1200 more for the steering package. I was almost sick we we took it for a test drive in an empty parking lot while the dealer was doing donuts in a perfect circle at 25 mph(me in the back seat). Needless to say it was easy to park, and a blast to drive, though it did come up on two wheels on the freeway once when I swerved to be avoiding being hit by someone who merged into my lane at 70 mph. I guess the sudden wheel spin, at 70, wasn't in the original drive specs(probably what lead to the demise of that short run option.
I hear the new Prius can parallel park itself( which makes sense considering the driving abilities of most of the Prius owners around here!
