If you can't beat them, then play their game. I got mad a few years ago when gas went through the roof. I started buying oil stock then and now I don't mind when the gas goes up!

Just went over 3.00 this week. Saw 3.09 reg this morning. I quit looking at the price. Just put so much in and go. Now when the price goes over 3.50 my prices just go up. Most of my gas is for business so pass it on. I hate it, but it's the fact of life. Can't buy at 1.00 and sell for .75. But it still sucks................

We are currently paying $1.09 a litre which is about $4.12 a US gallon.
I hear it could go up to $1.25 a litre this summer about $4.74 a US gallon.

Doesn't it make you feel great that Canada is one of the bigger crude oil producers/exporters (to the US) and your prices are still exorbitant.

This is the "Texas of Canada" Alberta! Many places in Canada are paying over $5.00 a US gallon right now. I know someone is getting rich and it isn't me.

That's why my next project is going to have a V6 in it. No more stump pulling big blocks. The choice was made for me.

That SVO - turbo Ford. 2.3 can be a screamer. Mine, with a carb would do 27-29mpg all day in a '79 Mustang. Then the fact that it just plain goes - fast when needed!! I kinda thought (for about 3 seconds) to do that to my '31 before insanity set.

I remember thinking back in the 70's while I was building the panel truck with a BBC, "Man I won't even be able to drive this thing if gas goes over 50 cents a gallon''.

Not sure about that SBC swap. I'm lucky to get 8 mi to the Gal. in mine (SBC). Maybe a 350 with the system that goes from 8 cyl. to 4 cyl.

Have to quit pleasure driving every week.
