Geez, that thing's huge. The cyclone is simply a southern hemisphere hurricane, rotating in the opposite direction due to polar attraction as I recall? As you said, it's good to be a distance away from that bad boy.

OMG - that's a lot worse then what BBC on-line showed this morning. That wind speed 320kph translates to approximately 198mph for us here in America. Much worse then our latest bad one, Katrina

you guys stay buckled up and stay safe. been tracking hurricanes and cyclones for years. never saw one this ferocious.

here is an image showing the size of this thing. 600 kilometres wide, and the eye is 100 kilometres wide.
I am glad that i live about 1800 hundred kilometers from there in new south wales.

Dose not look like the place to be be careful there
