The long and short of it is that he came in here, started a thread about his potential/future/current build and was accosted by a member or two who did not agree with him. Clearly at this point he did not feel welcome, but that seemed to change when his poll swung to the positive (22 for, 11 against). It was not until another newbie signed on and got on his case. he complained (more than a few times that I will not get into here), I PM'd the offender, believe that was taken care of. Apparently he did not (since I did not ban the user), so he essentially went back and edited all of his posts to remove any reference to his build or anything else for that matter. Why he started this new thread and then remove his remarks, only he knows.

He was bellyachin' as a newbie that no one had responded to his post about a rat rod and wanted his post deleted.
Poor guy - he felt all sad and lonely because he was ignored by us nasty folks here
I do feel bad, but had he posted a newbie introduction, said who he was and gave us some history of him and his projects, he might just have become a well liked contributor hereLast edited by IC2; 01-28-2011 at 07:38 AM.

I consider myself new to this site. I've learned alot in a short time.
If anyone says anything bad, I just let it slide. We all have bad days and good. I'm missing my right leg above the knee, but do have a fake one to get me through life. I've done alot of things like building my toys and will continue to do so. Alot out of my wheelchair. To MOM1, let it slide. You will get more out of this site than you will lose. Believe me, some people are just nutzzy, if you know what I mean.
Do things that you enjoy while your alive, because you can't do them when you're dead.

I joined in june of 2010, did a new member {newbie intro} and then decided to go to another forum that is more accepting of my type of rat rod style build. I started this thread to say how sad it was that the mods on this site refused to delete my thread about my build when I asked them too and even let the thread digress to 2nd grade name calling by another member named "old soul" who I might add had at that time 8 posts and 7 of them were to be a jurk to me for reasons unknown
but as soon as someone posted a Link to where I have gone, the thread was deleted. All I tryed to do was inject something new into the works. The place I went too offers suggestions and comments like Adults and we all get along very well.I have no problem with anyone here. For the record, I never asked any mod to ban anyone, I just ask them to stop the person from making smark assed remarks and name calling.I thought we were all grown but
I guess I was mistaken. I expect this post to be deleted before anyone reads it. I am enjoying where I went and hope you all have fun and be safe.account closed due to excessive child like behanvior. Account holder can stir the pot for his own jollies elsewhere.

The solution for mightovermetal1 is to simply not log back and your account will go inactive. Just in case you have a change of heart and want to log back in one day.
Your thread was deleted because you logged in and edited all of your posts to read "................." just as you did with your original post on this thread.
As for your signature, I removed it as it goes against the Terms of Use you agreed to when you originally signed up to this particular forum.
And with that this post is now closed.Last edited by mrmustang; 01-28-2011 at 10:35 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
