I like all things two wheels, have for many many years. I don't care what brand someone rides as long as they are happy with it. I will certainly NEVER get into a discussion over which bike is best. The best bike on the market in my opinion is the one that makes you happy. I can't count the number of motorcycles I have had over the years, everything from dirt, to sport, cruiser, tour, sport tour......you name it. Each have their degree of fun. However if you want a bike that handles like a sport bike, has the comfort of your easy chair, accelrates like a rocket and keeps momma grinnin while she reads her book, then you will not find a better fit than the wing hands down. The only twothat I cannot compare it to are the BMW KLT1200 and the new Victory Tourer. I have heard the BMW is top heavy as well. Anyway, if you get a wing and you plan on logging some miles, the wing is it. It really takes no time at all to forget it is as big as it is.
Vara4, I am pretty sure that level three wings are ABS, Level four has airbags. But you may be able to get a 3 without ABS. Check with Honda Directline in FL, great prices. Also get as much as you can afford, I just could not see paying 500.00 for a CB radio and Nav was not an option when I bought mine. I can see where Nav would be good, but I am fine with taking the one out of the car and using it. You can get the setup so that you can hear the GPS through your helmet also. And if it breaks it is way cheaper to repair. But that's me.....LOL Enjoy whatever you get.
