For popular engine builds the early Hemi's would be close to the top of the list but from first hand experience for the same level of build the big inch 472/500 Caddys cost about the same.
I would also suspect that the 455 BOP engines are also not a cheap build.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
