I've said it a million times, I wouldn't trade growing up in that time period for all the tea in China. I'm sure each generation feels that way, but that really was a different, special time.

More news for Roy Rogers fans.
If you are fortunate enuff to have RFDTV on your TV Provider then I've got good news for you. They have recently started showing old Roy Rogers and Gabby Hayes full length movies at various random times (check you local listings) The program is called "Roy Rogers Happy Trails Theater"..

Yes, Late forties, early fifties were absolutely magical times!
Roy loved fast cars and raced at Bonneville a few times.
Here he is on the salt with his Chrysler wagon.
