Nice work! Just curious what size tires are those and what are the plans for tubs? Widened factory or brand new aftermarket? Brian

Between the 57 and the Nova I don't seem to be getting anywhere. The headliner is almost in the 57. The left rear quarter rockerpanel and bottom of the rear quarter are all welded in and ground down. tomorrow should see the driver side finished. Then its to the pass side. The parts are coming in for the engine if nothing else this is getting expensive.

I like it! It will be very fun to have a 21 year old kid in a "tricked out" rice rocket pull up beside you and give you one of those "my car is way cooler than your car looks" and be obliterated in tire smoke and see only your Nova's tail lights before he knows what hit him!! Not that I would ever advocate a street race mind you....."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

I guess I still have a bit of a "competitive spirit" in me somewhere in me Pat.
Several years ago, a good friend of mine bought a 1969 Chevelle. It was beautiful - blue, black vinyl top sporting 396 badges, but had a nasty 502 and a rock crusher hooked up to 3.90 posi. To make a long story short, we had a Honda Civic with little wheels and an exhaust pipe big enough to hold a bowling ball pull up next to us and rev his little sewing machine up. He bolted out of a light while my buddy Dave was cool as a cucumber and caught him at the next light. Same thing and at the third light, his little buddy in the passenger seat made a rather rude remark about, "...old men and their weak a$$ muscle cars!" Dave smiled and when the light turned green he let that 502 loose. Needless to say, Dave got the last laugh and when these kids pulled up next to us again they were bug eyed and wanted to know, "What you running in that thing?" to which Dave replied - "Oh just just a kick a$$ ol' Chevy big block..."
We laughed our selves silly as they left the light slow and easy... I still smile just thinking about it!"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil
