I think I like the hamsters better.
Now, our "wonderful" prez said that it was going to cost $41,000 base price with our broke Uncle Sammy giving us back $7,500. This is still costing us $33,500 for that car. Now, I can buy that hamster's Kia locally for about $19 - 22,000 and get up to 36 mpg depending on which engine I choose. I can drive a heluva long way for $14,500 worth of gas even in my F350 - to be green. Nah - all an electric car is is a transference from one energy source to another - and, interestingly, often 'generated' from the same base product, oil. Plug it into an outlet - electricity is usually made from a carbon compound with only a very small amount from renewable sources - but then those generating.....aw heck, you know what I mean. Now, where is that savings??
