I'm always lurking ;)

Careful Bill, that sounds just like a line from those old "Watch out for VD" films they made us watch in the military.......;):LOL:
I still come over and lurk quite often. Like to see what the guys that I got to know on the short lived test site they had going for a while are doing. It is to hot here to do much outside and now we are having a cold spell with temperatures just below the 100 mark.
Ron :p
Good to see you again Ronnie.
Hey Bob,
Been doing any special projects lately? I have had three surgeries. Had to have a skin cancer removed from my arm and then the next two months I had to have both eyes operated on and the lens replaced. So I really haven't had time or much interest in doing a lot lately.
Ron
Nothing special to report, but heal well.
whats all this noise, you woke me up!
Thank you Richard, there was a lot of work in that, still is,actually..Its sitting on a fatman frame...BA series Aussie Falcon running gear out of his 2004 ute...5.4 litre quad cam,etc...OOps,I think I have just pirated Dons thread...sorry mate...:D We will put up some more when its all done..
I don't post much because I don't have the experience or knowledge that a lot of people have. I have played with cars since I helped my dad on his 57 Hudson as an 8 yr old kid. My taste in cars is Nash, Hudson and AMC which pretty much takes me out of most of the normal talk with hot rods but I enjoy reading what you all have to say. I am just finishing up an 86 Ford Ranger 4x4 that I built for my daughter's Christmas and birthday present so will hopefully be getting back to my project this fall after I get caught up with painting the house and yard work.
I follow the following quote:
"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"
Too many people on this site know so much more than me. It can be intimidating, even if most are very kind and will answer the stupid question or two.
Dave,
I will be the first to admit that I am an example of a stupid question.
As a pastor, I do get asked a lot of questions and people often say that their question is probably stupid. I tell them that I believe the only stupid question is the one that is not asked because if you have a question, then you should ask it.
The part of this topic that gets my goat every time is that some people feel it is "their right" to recieve an answer! When the reality is the group is made up of a bunch of guys and gals who genuinely want to help others. But there is no self entitlement! To many want to take the easy way out rather then read and learn a subject. OK, thanks for letting me rant. I'll step off the soapbox now and get back to lurking....
