    Great story Richard. I am Canadian, not American, but I can appreciate the sacrifice the soldiers of both our countries (and others) have made to secure our freedom. Thanks to all of you.
    If you have no objection, I would like to "borrow" the final sentence to use as a signature.
    Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.

    You are more then welcome to use any part. It was sent to me and even if it's not a true story I think most of us have helped an older person in distress.
