In 1973 I had to sell my 36 5window coupe because of family problems and I've regretted it ever since.

I understand the disappointment in this but there is a bright side also, you had the money to have her car fixed without putting you in the hole. I know thats no good feeling but things happen at the worst times for all of us. Count your blessings.

Whine away, Creep. There are a bunch of "Old Farts" on here who have been on the road long enough to feel your pain. I never managed to build a project stash that actually got used on it's intended victim - something always came along to take a big bite out of it. Priorities; bah humbug.

They are sure right about all of us having stories to tell.
Everyone knows that truckers have the best stories.
Usally about thier wife leaving and taking thier dog and pick up with them.
Now as a trucker I am glad to see I am not alone.
Chin up you'll get her done, good things come to those that work!!!
