Semper Fi and oooorah and for those of you that aren't that knowledgeable of the military, Force Recon is the Marine Corps equivalent to the Navy Seals and like the Navy Seals it is very difficult to become part of their little group.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Congratulation to your son and to you as a parent, you and your wife did a great job of parenting Joe Jr. My nephew was in training to become a Seal in the Navy in the 80's he went as far as he could go then he had to ring the bell. Not very many can go the distance.

Thanks everyone & to top it off he did it w/a torn ACL in his right knee.
One of his buddies who is a Lieutenant's & doctor checked him out & told him his injury would have ended an athlete's career & then asked how long ago it had been since he did it. Joe told him it happened 3yrs ago in Iraq .
The doctor looked at him & said "You did this 3yrs ago & then went through Recon. You have got to be one Tough & Crazy MF'r"....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
