I usually resize mine to 50-75% of the original ( 2.1MP camera ) with Gimp which is a free photoshop like program.. so my pictures are at or around 900x700, which is 200 pixels more than 'ideal' for a web forum, but still small enough so there not side scrollers on a 17"+ monitor.. going down to a 800x600 will be better for everyone thoYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
