Richard, I bet you get those days where the temp & humidity match once the temp gets above 80* just like I do(St Louis,Mo). It's great fun isn't it, and to top it off I'm in a river valley && less then a mile from the river .

July and August is really bad, yeah the temp and humidity equal most of the time. Right now is just before the bugs start coming, nats. Mosquitoes and ticks not to mention the huge spiders and I almost for got the ladybugs. If it weren’t for those pest you could keep the garage door open but they will get you when you have both hands trying to get to a part on the engine that is hard to reach. Other then that it’s a great place to live.

Also they say if you don’t bother the bee’s they won’t bother you, we have just about all of the ones except the killer bees so far. My wife was walking in the yard she got too close to the ones that nest under ground, they one on her in an instant one or two got inside her bra. I have never seen a lady get a bra off so fast even in a moment of passion.

Years ago my Pop had a couple hornets fly up his pants while cutting the grass in the front yard . We all got the biggest laugh watching him run around the front yard in a t-shirt & his underwear trying to get away from them ..joe
