They also team up with aluminum foil and soda cans as great muffler patches!:D
No way!!!!! Aluminum foil is used to line the inside of your baseball cap so that the feds can't read yer mind..... Geez, thought everybody knew that!!!!!:whacked:
and that's why ya gotta have the aluminum foil in yer baseball cap and not wrapped around yer muffler cuz then they can't find ya....(unless they injected you with that microchip so the FBI can track you!!!!!)
damm dave ya. got black helicopters to there too. no place is safe .....ted
In the old days we had REAL hangers, made of thick round steel. The modern ones bend so easily they won't even hold a shirt without deforming.:( A few times when I locked myself out of my car I would straighten one out and use it to reach from a slight opening in one window clear across the front seat to either pull the keys out of the ignition or to pull the door handle on the other side. THOSE WERE REAL HANGERS!! :D:D
You could walk into a business and tell them you locked yourself out and they would have hangers to loan you. Now they either don't have one or it's made from plastic.

These days there's no reason to just line your cap with aluminum......

Got get some too, I couldn't get in either! If a hanger could just fit in the computer it might work better!
Maybe this will work? It's a thread about a guy that pulled a pattern off a baseball cap & made a duplicate out of aluminum. The guy has skills.
I once had one that a local Deputy needed to get a car unlocked. We stood there with him for a long time when the gal (whose car he was trying to unlock) asked, what about trying the other side, to which he said, I already got that one! ! ! !
[QUOTE=bluestang67;376537]My wife cleaning out a closet found these . Rare muffler hangers like these have all but disappeared from the face of the earth . She was quick letting me know since I am always looking for one to use in the garage .
Those are what I learned to gas weld on.:D Wonder how those car held up after putting them back together with those?? That was when you could exactly chip a car and get by with it.
They were also good for bending straight, sticking a match in one end and reaching back to light the pilot light on the old water heater. Dont forget hanging the Christmas wreath on the front door, too.
Man, I gotta get me one of them aluminum hats---- Hope the make one with a bill on each end for those days that I don't know if I'm coming or going???:whacked:
