Whew, what a year this has been for losing people. I am so very sorry to learn of his passing. He was always such a great asset to every forum he frequented and seemed to be one h*** of a guy. When I read this I thought, no, not the guy with the Buick powered roadster, but it was really him.

My condolences to his family and friends, and may he be driving that great highway in the sky behind the wheel of one of his cool hot rods.

    Don

Oh man! He was posting on another forum just last week or so about some steering column stuff. RIP Jay.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

I first met Jay several years ago during the "hot cars & hot cuisine" cruise in So-Cal. Jay was extremely knowledgable and would share that knowledge with anyone. Great sense of humor and just fun to be around.

We've lost a good man, condolences to his wife and family.

    Mick
