Just a heads up
I stopped by my local Borders bookstore and found Hot Rod & Custom Chronicle by Thom Taylor for $7.99. Its a great book that goes through influential hot rods and customs starting in the 40's and ending in the early 2000's. It has over 280 pages of pictures and info. The book retails for $29 and at $7.99 is a great buy.
I just figured I would give a heads up for anyone who likes reading about hot rods when they are not working on them.
ThomasMe: I don't know how to build a hot rod.
Old Hot Rodder: You ever build a model car?
Me:Yeah...
Old Hot Rodder: Well instead of using glue you weld.

Thanks for the info '68!
I like the idea of a $7.99 book with 280 hot rod pics...at least I'm enjoying the ride!

Thomas, thanks for the tip. I checked out my local Borders today and they had 3-4 copies at $7.99 so I got one for the 'library'.

Awesome, I will put 5 quarts in when the time comes. I've always used Valvoline, what viscosity would be recommended for So.Cal.?, and thanks again
