I'm in the market too. I like the size and power of the 20 ton press. Te 10 ton models seem wimpy.

I never had one for years and years, then bought a cheap Harbor Freight one because it was on sale one day. I bought the 12 ton and so far it has been enough for the jobs we do. I could have bought the 20 ton, but so far it hasn't been needed.

One thing I will say , how did we ever get along without it? First job I did was press some bushings out of a Model T spring. Had been hammering and soaking, no go. Bought the press and they came out like butter. We have also used it to reshape spring leaves, and I just saved myself $ 35 because I pressed out and back in the kingpin bushings on my 40 Ford spindles myself, then took them to the machine shop for honing. Price was half as much because they didn't have to press them out and in.

    Very handy piece of equipment.

Had a 12-ton. Sometimes not enough. Would get a 20-ton if I had it to do over. Bigger is better.
