Yup, caught that one too, Ron!!!! I'd like to see more road racing, too... But it's going to take some track work, or some new one's, to get them wide enough to handle the big cars..... Still wish NASCAR would just do some simple things for the "big class"..... Take 500 pounds off the minimum weight and limit the compression ratio to 9:1 (like the old ASA race engines), maybe even limit the number of tires allowed per event like the Nationwide and Truck classes....Make the driver manage his tire use a bit and allow a bit of competition amongst the manufacturer's to supply a tire that will maintain grip and live awhile....

Back to the road racing aspect, maybe the new Nationwide cars will be a bit better adapted to road racing, sure hope so! Always fun to watch some events that involve more then just turn left and stand on the gas!!!! The Nationwide cars are down on power enough that the biggest money isn't always the best money and hopefully the new cars will put a bit more "driver" in the equation.....
