I agree with what others have said about trailering a car to a show.... It's your money, do as you wish and forget what others think.

Years ago, I wanted to take my restored Model A to a car show in my home town. Had I drove it, I would have needed to take side roads and leave the night before. Since I'm a big guy, there was not much room either so after 100 miles, I start becoming a Pretzel. So since I owned a trailer and a truck, I loaded it up and took it to my home town.

I won an award and after picking it up someone made a rude comment about trailering the car. It pissed me off that someone would say something about driving a 75 year old original car around a major metropolitan area (MPLS/St. Paul) all on back roads to get there only to be uncomfortable the majority of the time. For me, I generally keep my comments to myself, but some just feel they must vocalize them. I've trailered my cars since that time too. I don't care what others think anymore.
