To answer your question ....'40-41 "hands down"! The '53-'56 body is good looking, but looked a little too "heavy".
I'll add that I think there are even better looking trucks, but that is not what you asked.
Oh! There IS a truck in that photo! Must have missed it the first time I looked. :D
Too tough to pick THE best looking, so here's pics from three different eras.............with some bias:D
That gold one is gorgeous Bob! Never cared for the next one , I think it's something about the grill. But hey that's why there are different car brands, we each like different stuff!
Yeah, Dave Lane built the '40.....he's a superb craftsman and a detail wizard! http://www.fastlanerodshop.com/40Ford.htm
I bought a '72 Chev new, have always had a soft spot for them. This red one was my beater truck from the late '80s to mid '90s. This is it before repaint hauling a '32 frame, and the 3 window body.
IH 1200c, 1968.
Here is mine...... I also like all trucks but I have built 5 47-53 Chevy's

Nice paint work. The highlights make it pop as though it was a separate machined cut metal top. Did you design that yourself?
somebody out there has to have a picture of a 1939 ford pick up?!
that would be a nice project:cool:
Of course you could improve (?) it with some customizing............
That's very creative to say the least.
gas milage, don't need no stinking gas milage:LOL::LOL::HMMM:
