Took the Harley for a ride and saw this....

Me and a bud were doing a 4 state ride and going thru a small town in MO. I saw a pile of rust that I just had to turn around and check out.....Couldnt belive it when I saw a steel 32 three window coupe that was being made into a stock car clone!!! I spoke with the owner and he said his dad drove a 32 5 window (had a couple of pics too) and he wanted to build one like it but could only find this old 3 window!!! Damn....what a shame....but in his defence, the body was way to ruff to be restored, in my opinion anyway!!.....Oh yeah, the 35 Ford 3 window is his DAILY driver!!....

What part of Missouri? Are you riding the interstates or the backroads?

After looking at the pictures, I guess he isn't really doing anything that might get him tossed out of the Church.............that body was pretty far gone it seems. However, with the scarcity of Deuce bodies there are guys out there who would spend whatever it took in replacement panels and work to bring that one back. I've seen some pictures on the HAMB of bodies that some guys started with and it is amazing they even undertook such a huge project. Some of them were little more than a roof when they began.

    Me, I HATE rust.

We were in the boot heel, in Caruthersville. We always ride the back roads when ever possible. Although, we are thinking of doing an Iron Butt ride. For that we will probably take interstates......
