Gary Ormsby crashed his new streamliner 20 feet in front of me. 10' o'clock at night and one crew was still working. Fuzzy and Jana Carter were still working on the " Super Shops " car. They always worked very late and always had the the time to chat with you. In the early 80's maybe even 1980,( I don't recall now) all the big teams had big fancy decked out 18 wheelers. In pulls a black Dodge dually pulling a goose neck trailer. Florida plates. Don Garlits and Art Malone. They proved you didn't need all that crap to win a race. Times sure have changed. I feel fortunate I got to meet a lot of these people.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
