Summit Racing comes through again.

I ordered a dist , and when it finally did get here the box was damaged by UPS. I rotated the shaft and it had more resistance than normal. It spin half way around and then had resistance the other half. I know because I went to the local auto parts and checked a couple of their dist. Any ways got home and called Summit about 3pm here in Texas and the guy said no problems dont worry about sending your pics of the box. We will have you a new one at your door step before noon tomorrow morning. I have had issues like this in the past and they make it right as soon as possible so thats why I keep using them, and I will keep using them.... Just thought I would post not to many companys take care of the customer these days the way the should. Thanks

I had exactly the same excellent experience with Summit - and it was my fault when I clicked on the wrong part number for an MSD tach adapter. They had the correct part to me by 10:00 am the next day via overnight FedEx. I handed the reboxed wrong part to the driver and all but the initial shipping was at their expense. They may not always be the cheapest - but they do try, IMO hardest of all to be right!!!

Summit customer service can't be beat. Great return policy, good prices. May NOT be cheaper than the local parts store, but if you buy in bulk ( filters, wires, plugs, etc ) then in the long run you do save money not having to run around.

last order from Summit, I got three oil filters, some air filters, couple sets of plug wires, HEI dist. caps... Seems like a trip to 'town' takes half a day. "stitch in time" and all that..

I once called summit customer service about a part misfit. It was designed for my year of engine, but grossly didn't fit. They tried to track the part number, but couldn't find it in their system. Come to find out, I had bought it off amazon, not summit, months before and forgot! The service guy, still helped me get the manufacturer's info and number to fix the problem! These guy's are the best!
As for mail, if my order is in before 3pm west coast time, it's here by 10 am the next day! I'd have to say they are the best company consistently that I have delt with! They always stand behind thier stuff and are always curtious.

There was a tiny bit of damage to one of the wheels in the last set of wheels I purchased from them. Called, shipped it back and they sent me a new one and paid freight charges for both the new one and the returned one. Also got the new wheel the next day. Always excellent service, plus it's good to talk with a person on the phone who knows the products they sell.:D

I bought my boy a 1-100 digital oil pressure gauge and after a couple of weeks the sender went out called them they said they have had that happen in the past and sent out another one and said to trash the old one. Have done a lot of business with them all a good experience Ed

I started to use Summit Racing again . Yes they still have Lots of the Old School Parts and the New High Tech Stuff . And their Web Site is 2nd to none .

I am really lucky to live 15 minutes from Summit Racing. A lot of my current project has come from there. Being away from building for awhile, I am relearning things. Even though I try to research on this forum and other places, I still end up taking back stuff. They have been very kind in taking returns. Love the mail coupons from points earned.

i was doing the interior in my 1998 chanelled mini truck and called summit to order a full set of autometer carbon faced gauges. well i got my gauges and was hooking up the fuel gauge and it was not reading right. it said i had 3/4 tank and when i and i know the tank was on e. but anyway i called summit and he had never hurd of that prob, before but he would check on it. well to make a long story short the gauge was the wrong ohm rating for my sending unit. the guy at summit had them build me a custom guage using a ohm rating that was reversed from mine but they used the sweeping action of a cobra gauge and had it shipped to me with in a week and didnt charge me for anything. now to me thats customer service. gota love them for that.

I had a MSD box for 4 months, put it in and 2 weeks later it failed.. called summit and they had me ship back the old 1 and a new 1 came in a couple days.. return shipping was paid 4 with a emailed return label too.. after 4 months
