No matter how hard you try, Pat, you'll never get that tube to stick to that pressboard.
Seriously though, that hood with the flying eyeball is tough!
I recently pulled the trigger on a miller auto dark with light and speed adjust. Haven't found need to change the factory settings, but it's nice to have the options. Auto dark are WONDERFUL when you have lots of spot welds to do.
PS.. I like to wear a pair of light tint sunglasses which are UV rated under the hood. That way the light waves which are getting through get reflected..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
