Looks like using Silly String for Haloween is out of the question.

Its gotta be California, you all have the best weather but the silliest laws. Probably can log that law next to the no black cars law.

Kewl, looks like it's back to the fine old tradition of toilet papering someone's house, trees, cars, or whatever....

Maybe they should put some of the Obama stimulus money toward hiring a "Silly String Task Force." Think of all the new jobs it could create plus help get rid of an obvious danger to the enviroment. Everybody wins!

It would be interesting to know just what event precipitated such an idiotic idea; they may be nuts, but there must have been something -----

It would suck to be a kid who buys silly string on one of those two dates and is arrested for it. Some laws are rediculous. A friend always says he'll vote for any politician who removes one law a day from the record books. I agree. " "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve. The whole thing stems from too many party goers using this product and then leaving the aerosol can in the street. I understand that there were literally thousands of cans the next morning and the city finally had enough and enacted the ordinance.

I can only imagine what it's like to run over an aerosol can - could be a improvised explosive device, of sorts..

At any rate - that's the "why" behind it..

Thanks Glen. It just seemed like such a silly law. I could imagine some little kid spraying his brother and getting arrested!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve. "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
