glennsexton, where in San Bernardino hills did you live? I did too about 9 years ago. I was in Devore to be exact, up on the hills...
Rrumbler, where in 29 Palms? I lived and grew up there and Yucca Valley or Landers you can call it. I miss the desert but do not miss the smog, people and laws.

In reply to FMXH: Moved to Yucca Valley in summer '57 as a part timer, to 29 in Oct '58 with my folks. Grad TPHS class of '59. Lived and worked there for Desert Electric Co-op and later, Southern Calif. Edison until '68. Moved to Barstow, then on to "The OC" in '69, and stayed there (Mission Viejo) until '95 when I retired. Moved to the Sierras until '02, then bounced in Bakersfield in '02 and landed in "Vegas, baby" in Dec. of '03. I think I'll stay here for a while, bein' the desert rat that I am; I like it here.

Id like to live in Vegas as well.. Sounds like you and I are from around the same areas. The times are just not right, I was only born in 87 so you have me beat on that one.
