I don't disagree about him paying adult consequenses, but having had 6 children, 10 grandkids, and 5 great-grands...I can tell you that a person does not become fully matured on their 18th birthday. Some never do! I do however believe that life has certain conequences, and it doesn't matter "why", society will protect itself and enforce those consequences.
Nowdays, with the use of some really nasty drugs, the young man's social values of "street respect", using guns to settle disputes, and honing their young minds with video games, I am seeing some really ugly results.
Due to drugs, I have a niece in prison for the third time, and she's lost all of her kids, and I just had one of my sons die because he just had to respond, and provoke a fight, when he thought he was being "disrespected".....and that was at the age of 31! What a load of crap!
You would really really like for me to sit on that jury!Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 03-16-2009 at 03:36 PM.
