I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was bothered by this show........I though for awhile I was turning into a crotchety old man.
Ok, I AM a crotchety old man.
I know the producers love to create controversay where there is none, and I also realize that when camera's are staring yoiu in the face you may act a little differently than they normally would. However, I was more disturbed by the immaturity of the teacher. He evidently felt it was cool to be a pal to his students rather than a mentor. This show had to be an embarassment to at least the one Principal when it aired.
Like I said, I really enjoyed the first season where they filmed it in the South. Seeing the small town atmosphere where everyone in town shows up for parades and all made me long to live somewhere like that.
