Perhaps there should be a forum for polictical issues, but with rules about harshness, libel and slander. A forum that can be closed upon the first glimpse of abuse.
Well, guess I have gone too far once again. Hopefully not to be outcasted to the tar pits. Didn't mean to offend, just wanted to do a wisdom check.

You are not offending, just bringing something to this automotive forum that does not belong, that is all. You have to remember, young people (children as young as 8 years old) who do searches for their dream cars (remember way back when, I used to dig through magazines looking for all of the really cool automotive ads and stuff, now they have the internet) end up on this forum, as such, we attempt to do our best at keeping things below an R ratings.

Again we appreciate your understanding and future cooperation in this matter.

Wow, bet that's one heckuva site! Looks like anyone can get their arse burned and beaten there on any given day. Without your assistance I probably would have never stumbled upon it. That place looks absolutely wicked. How come a nice guy like you knows about it??

As for that web site, someone else on another web forum posted it I just happened to remember the post. Remember the old saying be careful what you wish for.......Then remember, you did ask above for a forum you could talk politics, didn't you

You know, of course your house your rules. just thought I'd give my opinion.

First, I am a member of another board that has 99.9% no censorship. politics stays in a politics section. some members end up spending all their time there, some, like me, only very seldom ever end up there.

Why allow politics on non-political (in the main) forums? simple, I hang out with people that for the most part share interests with me. I like to talk to people similar to myself about things.

I like guns, i don't want to talk about hunting, preservation and gun control laws on a PETA forum, I want to talk about those things with other guys that like guns. I want to see what they think.
